2009-10 Ice Hockey Ticket Information

Teams visiting the RMU Island Sports Center this season had better lace up their skates good and tight. They might want to tie a double knot, too! That's because their hosts - the Robert Morris Colonials - are going to battle, scratch and claw for 60 minutes every game ... 65 if necessary! Clearview Arena is the place to watch RMU torment the opposition as the Colonial men and women make a run at the College Hockey America title! After select home games, stick around and "Skate with the Colonials." That's right ... go on the Clearview Arena ice and skate with your favorite Colonial players. "Skate with the Colonials" is free if you bring your own skates, $2.50 to rent from the Island Sports Center front desk.

Special Events

The Fourth Annual Pittsburgh College Hockey Showcase at Mellon Arena is Friday, Jan. 8, 2010. This marquee event continues to break new ground inside the home of the 2009 Stanley Cup champion Penguins! For the first time, it's a tripleheader! The Robert Morris women open the day's action versus Connecticut at 2:05 p.m. That's followed by an ACHA Division I men's club game between RMU and Penn State. The nightcap features the Colonial men against '09 NCAA runner up Miami University. Also, don't miss the women's fourth annual "Skate for the Cure" game Nov. 27-28, 2009, when RPI visits Clearview Arena. All proceeds go to help benefit breast cancer research.
