Heather Ferrari-Urbansky
Softball (1991-1994)

A native of Fayette City, Pa., Ferrari holds the Robert Morris career records for runs (118) while ranking second in RBI (102) and triples (11), third in hits (179), tied for third in career home runs (16), fifth in stolen bases (41) and seventh in batting average (.335). She was part of four straight Northeast Conference title-winning teams that went a combined 119-62 in her four years. She played shortstop and outfield and twice was named to the All-NEC Tournament Team.

Jackie Gray-Crawford
Women's Track & Field (1991-93)

Gray, a native of West Mifflin, Pa., was the first woman ever from Robert Morris to qualify for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) track championships, doing so during the outdoor campaign of her freshman season in 1991 and then repeating the feat four more times (twice outdoors and twice indoors). Twice Gray captured NEC crowns -- the 1991 indoor 55-meter hurdles (8.7 seconds) and the 1992 outdoor 100-meter hurdles (14.93) –- and three times finished as a runner-up in the league (1991 outdoor 100-meter hurdles, 1993 indoor 55-meter hurdles and the 1993 outdoor 100-meter hurdles).

John Kowalski
Men's Soccer Coach (1989-96)

Kowalski posted an 88-66-9 (.567) record in eight years at Robert Morris before moving on to the head coaching position of the Tampa Bay Mutiny of Major League Soccer (1997-98) and then the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the A-League (1999-2000). He has come full circle, as he has coached the women’s soccer program at Robert Morris since 2001. Kowalski led the Colonial men’s program to four Northeast Conference regular-season championships and a pair of NCAA Tournaments (1993-94). The 1993 team was the first in Robert Morris history outside of men’s basketball to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Robert Morris ranked as high as 16th nationally (1995) in Division I under Kowalski, and he twice was named NEC Coach of the Year (1992, 1995).

Doug Petras
Men's Soccer (1990-93) 

Originally from North Huntingdon, Pa., as a goalkeeper Petras owns the single-season record for goals against average (0.90) during the 1993 season and posted a save percentage of .856 and a 12-6-1 record during the same campaign to help RMU reach the NCAA Tournament. Over his four-year career, Petras posted a record of 34-28-5 and owns career goalkeeping records for games (69), saves (470), shutouts (16), wins and save percentage (.832).
