Brooklyn, N.Y. - The first day of action of the 2008 Northeast Conference softball tournament has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Robert Morris University was slated to take on No. 3 seed Saint Francis (Pa.) Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m., but the game has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. Tournament host and 2008 NEC regular-season champion Long Island will open the tournament Saturday morning by taking on No. 4 seed Wagner at 10:00 a.m.
