RMU Closes Out Season at Mid-Atlantic Regional

Princeton, N.J. -  On Saturday morning, members of the Robert Morris University men's and women's cross country teams traveled to the campus of Princeton University to take part in the Mid-Atlantic Division I Men's and Women's Cross Country Regional at the West Windsor Fields.

Junior Emily Ingle (Tyrone, Pa. / Tyrone) led the Colonials with a 109th place finish and a time of 24:50 in the women's six kilometer race. Also running for the RMU women's team was sophomore Jessica Duffell (Punxsutawney, Pa. / Punxsutawney). She completed the course in 25:29 finishing in 128th place.

Three freshmen members of the men's squad participated in the 10 kilometer race. Arthur Leathers (Taneytown, Md. / Francis Scott Key) closed out his season with a 112th place effort and a time of 35:49. Brian Mitchell (Allison Park, Pa. / Hampton) completed the race in 117th place and a 36:20 mark. Julian Rankin (Cecil, Pa. /Canon-McMillan) also ran for Robert Morris with a time of 37:35 in 157th place.
