Clearview FCU Sets Up McLaughlin Olympic Fund

Moon Township, Pa. - December 18, 2009 - Former Robert Morris University ice hockey goalie Brianne McLaughlin will be the first Colonial athlete to ever compete in the Olympic Games. This historic event has brought the RMU and local community together to raise funds to help the McLaughlin family travel to Vancouver to see Brianne compete in the Olympics. Most recently, the Clearview Federal Credit Union has established the Brianne McLaughlin Olympic Fund in the hope to collect donations for this purpose.

Robert Morris University has put forth several fundraising efforts for the McLaughlin family and now Clearview would also like to lend a hand. The cost of travel, hotel and game tickets will amount to thousands of dollars and donations to the "Brianne McLaughlin Olympic Fund" will help the McLaughlins be with their daughter as she represents our country.

If you would like to make a donation, please make your check payable to the Brianne McLaughlin Olympic Fund. Donations can be sent to the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Mary Gerard, at Robert Morris University. The address is 6001 University Blvd. Moon Twp., Pa. 15108.
