Boston, Mass. - March 9, 2010 - This past weekend the Robert Morris University was represented by two athletes at the ECAC Championships held at Reggie Lewis Track.
Senior Erica Schmidt (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) competed in the pole vault after earning the NEC's automatic qualifier from winning the event in the 2010 Northeast Conference Championship meet. Sophomore Gabriella Rinehart (Norristown, Pa. / Norristown Area) placed 25th in the weight throw with a heave of 13.43 meters.
The Colonials start up the outdoor season on March 19-20 when the team heads to Winston Salem, N.C. to take part in the Wake Forest Relays.
