RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (1/18/12)
Producing a pair of goals in a 4-3 victory over Holy Cross (1/13/12) at the RMU Island Sports Center helps freshman forward Cody Wydo of the ice hockey squad earn his first career RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor. A native of Allen Park, Mich., Wydo scored the first goal of the contest at the 7:31 mark of the first period on a feed from Trevor Lewis to give the Colonials an early 1-0 lead. He added another goal in the second period that boosted Robert Morris to a 3-1 advantage. An accounting major, Wydo leads RMU in goals so far this season with 11 and is tied for second on the squad in points with Lewis with 15.
