RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (5/1/13)
Earning her first career RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor is freshman Halley Morell of the golf squad. The Brecksville, Ohio, native led the Colonials at the 2013 Northeast Conference Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla., last weekend by finishing in a tie for 14th overall with a three-day score of 241. Horell saved her best for last, tying a season-low by carding a round of 75 Sunday, including an albatross on the 13th hole, a par four with a distance of 224 yards. On the 2012-13 season, Morell was one of just two student-athletes to appear in all 21 rounds for Robert Morris, averaging 81.8 strokes, which ranked second for the Colonials.
