RMU Athletic Hall of Fame - Class of 2009

Sam Dorsett
Football (1999-2003)

A native of Hollywood, Fla., Dorsett is the ninth player from the Colonial football team to be enshrined into the RMU Athletic Hall of Fame. Dorsett served as the program's all-time leading rusher from 2003 to 2010 and finished his career with 3,847 yards rushing on 724 carries, an average of 5.3 yards per attempt. He owns career school records for rushing touchdowns (29) and 100-yard rushing games (19) and ranks second all-time in all-purpose yards (4,255). A three-time All-Northeast Conference selection (2000, 2001, 2003), Dorsett will be in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the RMU football team in 2011.

Jarrett Durham
Men's Basketball Coach (1984-96)

Durham owns the most victories by a Division I basketball coach in Robert Morris history with 157. He led the Colonials to three Northeast Conference Tournament titles (1989, 1990 and 1992) and subsequent berths in the NCAA Tournament as RMU's head coach after serving as an assistant coach for the program's first two trips in 1982 and 1983. In all, Durham was a part of each of RMU's first five trips to the postseason. He is a native of Aliquippa, Pa.

Sheri Horvath
Women's Basketball (1994-97)

Horvath posted career totals of 1,408 points, 585 rebounds, 570 field goals and 268 free throws in four seasons, including one at Hofstra before transferring to Robert Morris. She ranks third at RMU in career points, 11th in rebounds, second in field goals and ninth in free throws. In three years with the program, Horvath was a two-time All-Northeast Conference Second Team selection (1995 and 1996) before earning All-NEC First Team honors in 1997. She is a native of Elyria, Ohio.

Chris Hultquist
Men's Soccer (1992-95)

In the Robert Morris career record book, Hultquist ranks first in games (84), tied for first in assists (21), seventh in points (65) and tied for ninth in goals (22). His season high in assists came in 1995, when he finished with 10. Hultquist, a native of Yardley, Pa., was a member of the 1993 and 1994 squads at RMU that claimed the NEC Tournament championship and appeared in the NCAA Tournament, while he helped lead the 1995 Colonials to the NEC regular-season title.

Perry Johnson
Men's Basketball (1967-69)

The 2009 veteran's choice to be inducted into the RMU Athletic Hall of Fame, Johnson played two seasons of basketball at the Junior College level at Robert Morris. As a freshman he averaged 25.1 points per game, followed by a points per game average of 28.4 as a sophomore. For those efforts he was named a Junior College All-American and advanced to finish his career at Duquesne. He is a native of Akron, Ohio.
