Earning his second Robert Morris Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2009-10 season is junior kicker Garrett Clawson of the football squad. In a 37-10 victory over Wagner (11/14) that stretched RMU's winning streak to four, Clawson drilled three field goals against the Seahawks, connecting from 36, 46 and 34 yards. It marks the third time this season Clawson has established a career high and tied an RMU single-game record with three field goals, and his 46-yard boot marks a career long. For his efforts against Wagner, Clawson earned his third straight Northeast Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honor, marking the first time in league history a player has won the award three consecutive times. A native of Duncansville, Pa., and a sport management major, Clawson leads the Colonials with 59 points heading into RMU's 2009 season finale @ Monmouth (11/21) and has tied the single-season school record for field goals with 13.
