Named to DU Face-Off Class All-Tournament Team, junior attack Jake Hayes of the lacrosse team earns the latest RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week accolade. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Hayes finished with nine goals and an assist for 10 points last week in Denver, Colorado. In a 17-14 victory over Air Force (2/25/12) to open the tourney, Hayes tied RMU single-game marks in goals (7) and points (8) in the win. The next day Hayes added a pair of goals against national-ranked Denver. For his efforst, he was tabbed the Northeast Conference Player of the Week (2/27/12). On the 2012 campaign, Hayes owns13 goals and four assists for 17 points.
