After a scoreless first two periods, RMU registered a score of its own just 38 seconds into the third period. Sophomore forward Rebecca Vint (Caledon, Ontario / Brampton Jr. Thunder) passed out front to senior defenseman Jamie Joslin (Richmond Hill, Ontario / Aurora Panthers) who would fine the net after a fierce shot from the right point. The goal marks the first of the year for the senior assistant captain.
Brittany Zuback, who had two goals in yesterday's game responded again for Vermont. Zuback scored 1:23 after Joslin to give the Catamounts a 2-1 advantage. Sarah Campbell and Amanda Pelkey each tallied an assist on the second Vermont score.

Junior defenseman Kylie St. Louis (Windsor, Ontario / Southwest Wildcats) received the secondary assist on the game-tying goal. Collias has now registered an assist in the past two contests for RMU while St. Louis registered four points in the two-game series against Vermont.
After both the Colonials and Catamounts fought hard for the remainder of the third period, the game would go into overtime and end in favor of RMU thanks to the goal by Lauziere.
The three goals for the Colonials came on just 37 shots, which allowed RMU to register a shot percentage of .082. The last overtime win for RMU came on Oct. 14, 2011 against Minnesota State University. The victory against Vermont marks the first come-from-behind win this season for the Colonials.
Senior netminder Kristen DiCiocco (Niagara Falls, Ontario / Stoney Creek Jr. Sabres) received the start for Robert Morris. The start marks the sixth of the season for DiCiocco. She earned her third win of the season behind a 22-save performance in game two against Vermont.
