RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (1/25/12)

In leading Robert Morris to a split with Mercyhurst last week, sophomore forward Thea Imbrogno of the women's ice hockey squad earns the latest RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade. A native of Etobicoke, Ontario, Imbrogno posted a goal and two assists in the two games against the Lakers last week. Her lone tally proved to be a big one, as it gave the Colonials a 3-2 victory, the program's first win over perennial national title contenders Mercyhurst. The goal came at the 19:07 mark of the third period and marked her ninth goal of the season. On the 2011-12 campaign, Imbrogno ranks second for the Colonials in points with 25, including nine goals and a team-high 16 assists.
