Earning her second RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2011-12 campaign is junior goaltender Kristen DiCiocco. A native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, DiCiocco gave up just one goal in a home-and-home split with Niagara this past weekend. DiCiocco earned the shutout in the second game of the series, 1-0, by turning away 19 shots, including nine in the third period. On the week, DiCiocco recorded 61 saves and on the 2011-12 campaign owns a record of 12-8-2 between the pipes with a /931 save percentage and a 1.86 goals against average. She is an early childhood and special education major.
