Moon Township, Pa. - The 19th annual Joe Walton Celebrity Spring Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Beaver Valley Golf Club in Beaver Falls, Pa. This outing is held each year to help raise additional funds for the RMU football program. Revenue generated helps to cover the cost of equipment, travel, educational and recruiting needs.

Save the date and plan to join us as this year's event plans another exciting, fun-filled day. Registration fees and/or a sponsorship includes all day food & beverage, greens fees with cart, goodie bag, skills games, a celebrity in each foursome and the opportunity to support the RMU football team. The format of the outing will be an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start scramble.

Past celebrity attendees have included L.C. Greenwood, Mel Blount, Joe Namath, Rocky Bleier, Andy Russell, Hugh Green, Steve Blass, Kent Tekulve, Kevin Colbert, Tito Francona and many others!

Various sponsorship packages are available. Individual golfers are welcome on a space available basis. New to this year's outing is a merchandise sponsorship where sponsors will have exclusive opportunities to have their company name or logo imprinted on tournament merchandise included in the golfer goodie bags.
