RMU Student-Athlete of the Week (3/7/12)

In leading the Colonials to a 2-1 series victory over American International in a best-of-three games at the RMU Island Sports Center last weekend, senior forward Trevor Lewis takes home the latest RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor. A native of Lititz, Pa., Lewis recorded a goal and seven assists in the series to help Robert Morris advance to the AHA Tournament quarterfinals this weekend at Niagara. Lewis finished with three assists and the eventual game-winning goal in a 5-3 victory in the opening game of the series against the Yellow Jackets and added two assists in RMU's 4-3 overtime victory in the deciding game three. On the 2011-12 campaign Lewis is tied for the team lead in points with 29, posting eight goals and 21 assists.
