Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University men's tennis team suffered its fifth straight loss Friday evening by dropping a 7-0 decision to IPFW.
The setback drops the Colonials to 3-5 overall on the 2011-12 season.
At the No. 2 singles flight, junior Jose Limon (Colonia San Jose, Mexico) battled Daniel Kang before suffering a 6-4, 7-5 loss.
Junior Tarun Kishan (Mississauga, Ontario / Saint Francis Xavier Secondary) and sophomore Ricardo Horlle (Curitiba Parana, Brazil) each dropped 6-4, 6-4 decisions at the third and fourth singles flights.
Kishan fell to Andre Cobos at No. 3, while Horlle slipped against Connor Andrews at No. 4.
Robert Morris now gears up for its annual Spring Break trip to Florida, with five matches in four days in Orlando, Fla., starting Sunday, March 4.
