Joining sophomore Chris Carper as one of two student-athletes recognized for the final RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2011-12 campaign is senior midfielder Kiel Matisz of the lacrosse team. Matisz earns the honor after being named to the 2012 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America Third Team last week. The honor is the highest a Colonial has taken home from the USILA since the program's inception in 2005, as former Colonial Trevor Moore was a two-time USILA Honorable Mention All-American in both 2010 and 2011. Matisz was named the 2012 Northeast Conference Player of the Year and the 2012 NEC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the NEC in points per game (4.27). He finished his final season with Robert Morris in 2012 with a single-season school record 64 points thanks to 40 goals and 24 assists.
