Robert Morris University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and sponsors 23 Division I sports (football is FCS). RMU competes in the Northeast Conference (NEC) as well as Atlantic Hockey (men's ice hockey), College Hockey America (women's ice hockey) and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (women's rowing).
