Robert Morris University women's hockey team were named College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Month and Rookie of the Month for December, respectively, announced the league Tuesday afternoon.

Howard notched her second career hat trick in No. 9 Robert Morris' (14-1-5) 5-1 victory over Brown, and scored the game-winning goal against the Bears the following day. She posted a career-high-tying three assists in a 6-5 win at Penn State earlier in the month to help the Colonials remain undefeated in CHA action.
Gebhard posted seven points over four games in December and continues to lead the league and the nation in points per game among rookies (1.35). The first-year forward out of Plenty, Saskatchewan, recorded multi-point efforts in three games to cap the month of December. Overall, she scored three goals and tallied four assists for seven points.
Gebhard racked up two goals and an assist to match her career-high three points in the Colonials' 6-5 win over Penn State, then followed up with back-to-back two-point games in the Brown series to kick off the second half of the season.
Robert Morris has a break from action before they continue a four-game home stand and host Lindenwood on Friday, Jan. 13 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 14 at 3:05 p.m.
