Dr. Ron Moses serves as Vice President and Director of Athletics at Robert Morris University. He comes to RMU from Old Dominion University, where he served as Deputy Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Advancement, Revenue Growth, and Competitive Strategy.

Since joining ODU in 2019, Moses provided leadership across student-athlete advancement, NIL and revenue-share programming, academic services, alumni engagement, and competitive strategy, with an emphasis on integrating student development, competitive excellence, and sustainable financial models. He led strategic initiatives advancing external engagement and fiscal innovation, including corporate partnerships, donor relations, and community-based collaborations, and was instrumental in designing and implementing ODU's comprehensive NIL and revenue-share infrastructure in partnership with campus leadership, legal counsel, finance, compliance, and external affairs.

Nationally, Dr. Moses serves as Vice Chair of the NCAA Committee on Academics and Eligibility and previously served as President of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A). In these roles he has championed academic reform, expanded professional development for athletics professionals, and advocated for policies prioritizing student-athlete success and well-being. He is a 2026–27 selectee of the NCAA Pathway Program.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, Dr. Moses brings a mission-driven leadership style rooted in service, accountability, and innovation. He also holds a faculty appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in ODU's Darden College of Education, teaching sports management.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Georgia, a master's degree in Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University, a master's degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University.
