Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University men's soccer team hosts a pair of matches at the North Athletic Complex this week, starting with a non-conference contest against Saint Francis on Wednesday before a Horizon League match against Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
Robert Morris captured their first road win of the season, thanks to an offensive explosion and a three-goal performance from junior 
Chase Gilley to take down Milwaukee, 5-0.
The Colonials scored three goals in the first 10 minutes of the match last Saturday, two of them coming off the foot of Gilley. Junior 
Kelvin Ramirez found the back of the net at the 5:50-mark, while classmate 
Hugo Kadima recorded two assists and sophomore 
Charlie Lawrence tallied an assist as well.
Gilley capped off his performance with his third goal of the half in the 24th minute, while freshman 
Alex Lorigny closed the scoring burst by carding his first career marker in the 43rd minute. Junior

Shane McMillan all registered assists in the victory.
TEAM LEADERS
Gilley paces Robert Morris in every statistical category through five games this season. He's recorded eight total points, three goals, two assists and six shots on goal, while playing over 330 minutes.
Ramirez and Kadima each have four points, with Ramirez sitting second on the team with two goals and Kadima registering two assists and a goal. Lorigny and junior 
Logan Gilley have both found the back of the net, while seven different Colonials have recorded an assist this season.
Sophomore goalkeeper 
Friedrich Petrelli recorded his first shutout last Saturday as he is only one of three goalies in the conference to register one. He has tallied 13 saves on 53 shots faced, while recording a 1.40 GAA.
HORIZON LEAGUE HONORS
The Colonials swept the Horizon League awards this past week, as Gilley was tabbed the Offensive Player of the week for the second-straight week and Petrille was selected the Defensive player of the Week for the first time in his career.
SCOUTING THE RED FLASH
Sant Francis comes to Moon Township with a 3-2-1 overall record and have won their last two matches, securing a 4-1 win at Bucknell before capturing a 2-1 win against Longwood.
This will be the 17th meeting between these two programs as the Red Flash hold an 11-4-1 record against the Colonials. They have outscored Robert Morris 4-0 in the last two meetings.
Saint Francis swept the NEC weekly awards this past week, as Nico Stoddart was named Athlete of the Week, Jordaine Jaeger was named Rookie of the Week, and Maximus Rigby was named Prime Performer of the Week. Stoddart paces the Red Flash with six points and three goals, while Rigby has registered three assists and a goal this season.
Jaeger has started all six games in goal for Saint Francis and comes into the match with a .714 save percentage. He has collected 30 saves on 83 shots faced this season, while tallying a shutout.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Purdue Fort Wayne is on a two-game losing streak as it dropped a 3-0 decision against Western Michigan before falling at Northern Kentucky, 3-0 on Saturday.
This will be the third meeting between these two programs as Robert Morris captured a 1-0 victory in 2020, before the Mastodons collected a 3-1 win last season.
Purdue Fort Wayne is led by Luke Bedford, who has totaled five points with two goals and an assist. Keith Larson sits second on the team with four points, while pacing the Mastodons with two assists. Through seven games, four different players have found the back of the net for Purdue Fort Wayne.

"We are excited to be back at home this week. First up on Wednesday, we have an old NEC rival in Saint Francis which will ask a lot of us," head coach 
Jason O'Keefe said. "We will need to be sharp and ready to compete.
"Saturday, we get back into Horizon league play versus Purdue Fort Wayne. They are very talented and well coached," he said. "All the conference games bring a different edge to them so we will have to be prepared for anything. The most important thing for us this week is playing from minute 1 to 90 at home."
