Robert Morris University Athletics

The RMU Sports Medicine Department, along with physicians from UPMC, provides the highest quality athletic training and sports medicine services to student-athletes. Our board certified athletic trainers are licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as healthcare professionals. Athletic Trainers work closely with physicians to ensure the health and safety for all of RMU's student-athletes. Athletic training includes the prevention, clinical evaluation and assessment, and immediate care of athletic injuries, as well as treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries.

The RMU athletic training staff consists of eight certified athletic trainers who work under the direct supervision of the sports medicine trained team physicians. In addition to our team physicians, RMU student-athletes have access to various specialists and consultants in the greater Pittsburgh area.
